AED University is an educational service of The AED Foundation, an affiliate of the Associated Equipment Distributors. The curriculum includes industry-specific training in management, parts, service, sales, rental and customer service. We are also pleased to introduce technical and safety and compliance training through our online educational partners.
Participants are automatically enrolled on the AED University Learning Management System (LMS), a site that facilitates the delivery of seminars, self-study and online courses. It is an integrated, online management tool designed to help supervisors and employees plan, select, coordinate and track their educational experiences.

Adobe/Macro Media Flash Player
The Adobe Flash Player is software for viewing animations and movies using computer programs such as a web browser; in common usage, flash lets you put animation and movies on a web site. Flash player is a widely distributed proprietary multimedia and application player created by Macromedia and now developed and distributed by Adobe after its acquisition. Flash Player runs SWF files that can be created by the Adobe Flash authoring tool, by Adobe Flex or by a number of other Macromedia and third party tools.

Adobe/Macro Media Shockwave Player
Adobe Shockwave (formerly Macromedia Shockwave) was Macromedia's first and most successful multimedia player prior to the introduction of Macromedia Flash (now Adobe Flash). It allows Adobe Director applications to be published on the Internet and viewed in a web browser by anyone who has the Shockwave plug-in installed. Although Shockwave was designed for making a wide variety of online movies and animations, its actual use has become concentrated in the area of game development. It is often used in online applications which require a very rich graphical environment. Online Learning tools which simulate real-world physics or involve significant graphing, charting, or calculation sometimes use Shockwave.

The Java Runtime Environment
JRE provides the libraries, the Java Virtual Machine, and other components to run applets and applications written in the Java programming language. In addition, two key deployment technologies are part of the JRE: Java Plug-in, which enables applets to run in popular browsers; and Java Web Start, which deploys standalone applications over a network.
